Enjoy winter sports In the Vosges with Verte Vallée Campsite

Only a few kilometres from Verte Vallée Campsite are some of the most popular winter sports resorts in the Vosges mountains. Bresse-Hohneck in particular is the largest ski field in north-east France, with 220ha for skiing and 34 pistes around Hohneck which peaks at 1,363m. You can do downhill skiing or cross-country skiing, or even head out on snowshoes to explore the stunning landscapes of the Vosges mountain range. The smaller fields of Schlucht, La Bresse-Lispach and Xonrupt-Longemer also offer a family-friendly atmosphere.

And let’s not forget the popular Gérardmer ski field with its ski pistes and leisure facilities (ice skating rink, bowling alley, casino, pool, etc.). All of these winter sports resorts are located within 4-10km of Verte Vallée Campsite and offer a generous choice of pistes and landscapes for your winter holidays in the Vosges. And on the other side of the Vosges peaks, you can make the most of your winter stay by visiting the pretty Alsatian towns, particularly during the Christmas market period.

After a day of skiing, you will be happy to return to Verte Vallée Campsite with its heated hall and ski equipment/clothing drying room. The campsite’s normal services wind down over winter but the bread delivery service is available throughout the year. You don’t even have to leave the campsite to enjoy fresh bread and pastries for your breakfast. We also provide a parent’s room with baby bath and change table for your little ones, a games room with table football, a pinball machine and billiards table, and a laundry room with washing machines and dryers.
Other stores (butcher’s, bakery, grocer’s, etc.) are open in the village of Xonrupt-Longemer, only 4km from Verte Vallée Campsite, along with restaurants where you can sample some delicious Vosges specialty dishes.
